Raw Culture Art & Lofts Bairro Alto

Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best continental breakfasts I had. Room was fun, spacious and very well provisioned. You can see many small details around the hotel where it's clear someone made an extra effort. I loved it. WiFi was especially good. Bar had great drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'd certainly be returning.

Staff were all very friendly, lovely and helpful - they helped with our bags, gave great restaurant and activity recommendations and the bartender made delicious cocktails for our complimentary welcome drinks! The room was spacious and tastefully furnished and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates and we loved that there were two separate toilets which meant we did not have to fight over it! Another highlight was the buffet-style breakfast that was delicious and also included made-to-order omelettes and/or avocado on toast.

Wow!! We had the best stay here for my 30th birthday. The room was amazing, so clean and spacious. They were kind enough to leave a birthday cake and handwritten note on my actual birthday. The staff were amazing - especially the breakfast lady and the 2 bar staff - they made us some incredible cocktails and gave us great local recommendations. The room is completely soundproof and the bed was so comfy. The interiors of the hotel are so cool. Breakfast was lovely. Can’t fault it! Would 10000% recommend.

Staff was fabulous in this quirky, hip, clean hotel right in the thick of Bairro Alto. Get a room on the “G” side of the building as it’s quiet! Great kixology, fabulous free breakfast buffet, and wonderful recommendations for places to go.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Raw Culture Arts and Lofts hotel in Bairro Alto. The staff was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The room was like a small apartment--large and spacious. The furnishings were simple but met our needs. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a living area, a dining table, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. One bathroom had a toilet and a sink (half bath), and the other had the shower and sink, with a second toilet in a separate room. The breakfast was very nice, offering an assortment of fruits, breads, meats, and pastries as well as eggs cooked to order. The hotel location was fairly quiet, though one night there was a lot of noise coming from people in the street, as if a bar had just closed down. The other nights were pretty quiet. The area was convenient to a lot of restaurants and sights. We walked everywhere in Lisbon. The only thing I might mention is that it is on a quiet side street that is not accessible to Uber. The driver had to drop us off a block over on the main street and we had to pull our luggage around the corner and up the cobblestone street. When we left, we took a taxi to the cruise ship terminal, and the taxis have an access code to get onto the private street so they were able to pick us up at the hotel. All in all, it was a nice stay and we would highly recommend this hotel.
